PURPOSE

We are looking for part-time and full-time media skills teachers and workshop leaders to deliver instruction in a hands-on, project-based environment in our media labs in Greece and Poland.

Our teaching method in all ReFOCUS Labs is based upon a “learn by doing” methodology, which assists students in learning new skills and quickly developing new media for their growing portfolios. Every week we create new content, which is shared on our social media as well as with international industry media partners.

We are a volunteer-led organisation priding itself on employing former students from within the community. As a small charity, we don't have a huge budget for staff- but we do have access to inspiring stories, powerful imagery and an energetic team of colleagues and amazing groups of students from around the world.  We’re looking for motivated media creators to help our students master their existing skills, and introduce them to new workflows they may never have thought of exploring.

You will work closely with our current staff of teaching-artists and will be mentored by our cofounder and director of educational programming who has two decades of teaching experience in a multitude of educational settings.

This is an exciting opportunity to really give back with your skills, and to join a full-spectrum community of teaching artists that include Academy Award nominees, industry professionals as well as highly motivated young media creators and students from around the world.

Don’t hesitate to reach out, we’re sure your skills can enhance our community and change the lives of our students.
